In addition to our Nashville Food and Sightseeing Tours, we’ve offered intoxicatingly fun distillery tours for years and visit all of the best Nashville craft makers of Bourbon, Tennessee Whiskey, Gin, Absinthe, Vodka, and specialty spirits, but did you know that just a few miles down the road is the very first registered distillery in the Nation? That’s right, Jack Daniel’s distillery, in Lynchburg, adds a spirited story to Tennessee’s whiskey culture that is unique and wonderfully down-to-earth. Nashville Food Tours now offers a complete Whiskey Adventure that takes you to Lynchburg and back, sharing top-shelf tastings, a guided distillery tour and a visit to historic Lynchburg – all guided by our 5-star tour guide and traveling in a comfortable high-roof touring van.

Your tour includes comfortable guided transportation from Nashville to Lynchburg and back, a full guided tour of the operations at Jack Daniel Distillery, and a tasting of Jack’s top-shelf spirits, presented in their tasting roomy one of their experiences guides. You’ll receive a souvenir rocks glass and have time to explore historic Lynchburg’s downtown with its homey shops, museums, and displays.

We provide an option that includes a full (and amazing!) BBQ Lunch as well as tastings at a Lynchburg local winery and at a second distillery in town that specializes in moonshine and other spirits.

Very reasonably priced, the tour includes plenty of local stories and information for the 90-minute drive to Lynchburg and, as always, you’re welcome to bring along your own favorite beverage to enjoy en route (alcoholic or not). Tennessee law prohibits us from providing alcohol to you in the van, but does allow you to enjoy drinks that you bring along for yourself as we travel. We’ll be sure to have a few mixers and some bottled water for you to enjoy, as well as some light snacks for the ride.
